How to try on shoes correctly? May be you will say it’s unnecessary to talk about this. But actually many people don’t know how to choose and try on shoes which fit their feet well.

Many women like to visit shoes shops pretty often. But they seem to be unaware of the simple rules that they should follow when shopping footwear. Let’s share the knowledge. Maybe you will find it even can make your life easier when you wear a nice pair which you’ve bought correctly.

1 Try on a variety of brands, styles and sizes to understand which producer makes the most comfortable shoes for you. It is quite important.

2 You should know the fact that feet normally swell over the course of the day. So to insure a proper fit, always try on shoes later in the day.

3 Some people will try on only one shoe. Make sure you try on both shoes. It is important as most people have a slight size variance from one foot to the other. It’s evident that you must buy the size of shoes according to your larger foot. Please remember this.

4 When try on shoes, do not just sit on the chair. Remember stand up and walk a bit to feel whether they are comfortable or not.

5 Don’t allow for a “breaking in” period. Shoes should be comfortable when you wear them.

6 When going to a shoe store, ensure that you wear the socks or hose you’d normally wear with the shoes you’re considering.

7 There should be just a bit of space between your heel and the heel of your shoe. If the space is too much, it is bad for your feet. It will move all the way you walk. In case you choose a pair with no space at all, the heel of the shoe will rub or press into your skin.

8 Make sure you can move your toes freely. Shoes that constrict or pinch your toes will make you miserable fast, and can lead to pain, and more serious problems down the road.

9 When you have already chosen a pair, take the actual pair you tried on to be certain you’re getting exactly what felt good.

Can You Walk in the Heels?

Do you think you can walk perfectly in all heels? If you say yes, maybe you won’t so confident when seeing the shoes showed here? The incredible pair of 8-inch heels was created by Christian Louboutin to raise money for the English National Ballet.

Sometimes girls think that the higher the heels of the pumps the better. But when they say ‘higher’ they don’t actually mean that a heel should be longer than 6 or 7 inches, and it definitely should come with a platform to keep the right balance. However, Christian Louboutin decided to surprise us all by creating a shoe with an eight-inch stiletto in a ballet style. Judging by the picture there is hardly a girl who could really wear such shoes, although we always have Lady Gaga.

Christian Louboutin said about his design:
“I could not help being inspired by English National Ballet… after all… isn’t the classical dancing ballet slipper the ultimate heel? The heel makes dancers closer than any other women to the sky, closer to heaven!”

Christian Louboutin designed these incredible shoes to auction off along with a number of other fashion items to raise funds for the English National Ballet. The silk Swarovski-encrusted heels are just one lot of many you might be interested in. Designers including Erdem, Giles Deacon, Moschino, Roksanda Ilincic and Julien Macdonald have made ballet-inspired pieces specially for the auction.

Surprising – the Most Expensive Shoes in the World Can’t Sell

The most expensive pair of shoes in the world can’t sell. It’s surprising. Usually stars like Jennifer Lopez rush to buy exclusive things but this time no one got interested. Actually, there were plenty of people interested but for five months not a single pair was sold.

The shoes, which cost a staggering £140,000 ($319,460), are made entirely from solid gold and more than 2,000 diamonds. The design is simple enough though.

The pricey shoe was produced by British jewellery designer Christopher Michael Shellis, who said it took him three years to complete the item. Talking about selling his unique shoe he said:
At the moment there have been a lot of enquiries and talks – but nothing concrete just yet. The shoes have created a real buzz, but there is still a long way to go. We’ve had discussions with certain people but I can’t say who.”

The designer of the most expensive shoe also told what his aim of creating the pieces was:
The aim of this was to create a unique form of jewellery which you can wear on your feet. It’s a bit like if you found these on an archaeological dig in thousands of years time they would be regarded as a treasure – a treasure of the feet. But like any great treasure it will remain as beautiful as the day it was created – and we even offer an ‘eternity’ guarantee lasting 1,000 years.”
