A cardigan boot made by Ugg released in 2008 that completely sold out the last three months of 08\’. This is a warm boot. The footbed is lined in sherpa so it does keep your feet warm in the winter and cool in the summer. It is not just a winter time boot. It comes in several colors, the most popular being the neutrals- grey, black, tan, they also have brown, pink and blue available. It is a knit cardigan material, hence the name “Cardy”. There are 3 wooden buttons on the side that you may or may not see depending on if you wear the boot folded up or down. This is what I love about the boot. You can wear it as a short or a tall boot. I love it over leggings as a tall boot and the buttons look so cute when it is flipped up. It has the traditional rubber sole so that you won\’t slip out side and it is so comfy. These do run true to size unlike the classic Uggs which run one size large.
Comfort
These boots are made by Ugg so of course they are super comfortable. They are slouchy and lay close to your leg and the footbed is lined in sherpa. You do not have to wear socks with these although you can if you want. Some people are weird about not wearing socks with their boots/shoes. They keep your toes cozy but as mentioned above you can wear them in the summer and they will not have your feet too hot. Grey Ugg Cardy\’s were recently seen on Madonna and on Kate Hudson while wearing a skirt in California… ahh, to be wearing a skirt in the winter, must be nice.
Price
The boots run around $140 a piece plus tax but I am going to put a link where you can find them for less and if you do a little searching you may still be able to find some coupon codes.
