Rising Star Lana Del Rey

  • Posted on January 11, 2012 at 9:01 pm

Lana Del Rey is a modest girl even though her self-described ‘Gangsta Nancy Sinatra’ was really hot recently, and she claimed that she still couldn’t believe that many people want to hear her sing. Actually, she is really a humble and honest girl.

Lana, 25, made the admission as she posed for a sexy new shoot in V magazine, showing off her slender figure in outfits including a chic Prada bodysuit. Here she wore crystal necklace and shining crystal ring, and she looked stunning and radiant.

Talking about adjusting to fame, Lana, whose real name is Elizabeth Grant, told the publication: ‘The one thing that has really changed is that I now have an audience. I turn up in Glasgow or Manchester or Amsterdam and there are good people waving at me from the crowd. That’s amazing. There are people outside the venue at sound check that want to chat and take a photo. Someone showed me their ticket stub and asked me to sign it. You know how much it costs to come and see a show? These people really wanted to see me.’

American singer-songwriter Lana first began to cause a stir with the release of her haunting debut single Video Games.

Talking about the track in a recent interview, Lana said: ‘I just put that song online a few months ago because it was my favourite. To be honest, it wasn’t going to be the single but people have really responded to it. I get very sad when I play that song. I still cry sometimes when I sing it.’

Radiant Kate Middleton in Stunning Bijou Jewelry

Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, absolutely is the center of focus when she attended the Sun Military Awards with Price William. Though it was the night when the courage of military heroes was saluted, the duchess seemed to be the center of focus.

She wore £4,000 black strapless dress and stunning bijou jewelry, a set of bling purple necklace and creative bracelets. Actually, she was amazing and radiant all night.

Her black velvet full-length gown came from her favourite couture label, Alexander McQueen, and this simple black dress clung to her every curve. The dress was made by a designer for Alexander McQueen and featured frill trim around the bust

As she wore a black dress, she cleverly chose shining charms jewelry to complement the evening dress. Prince William’s wife sported a diamond-and-ruby collar-style necklace given to her as a wedding present by a mystery admirer.

The set of purple diamond jewelry is designed to appear as if dozens of gem-encrusted shooting stars are radiating out of it. She also wore matching earrings and a bracelet. A St James’s Palace spokesman would say only that they were ‘a wedding gift from a family friend who wishes to remain anonymous’.

Besides the amazing jewelry, the Duchess of Cambridge’s glossy hair was beautiful in big waves. She just let her hair down, and the big waves made her charming and amazing.

Strict Mother Madonna Demands Perfection on Daughter Lourdes

This is a picture of Madonna and her daughter Lourdes last year. The mother-daughter pair both wore all black ensemble with bling bling necklaces and charms bracelets. They seemed like sisters. However, Madonna is a strict mother, and she even demands perfection on daughter Lourdes’s blog.

The Material Girl, 53, said that she goes through the text and sometimes edits it to make it sound better. The aim was ensure that Lourdes, who writes under her nickname Lola, does not become a ‘lazy writer’, even though she is just 15.

Speaking to US Harper’s Bazaar, Madonna also lashed out at those who write her off because of her age and spoke candidly about how she was bullied at school and called ‘Hairy Monster’. She claimed that when she was younger straight men did not find her attractive because she was ‘different’.

Earlier this year Madonna and Lourdes launched their own U.S. fashion label together called Material Girl. The accompanying blog features advice and tips to young girls and looks every inch the work of a teenager – even if that isn’t actually the case.

Madonna claimed that Lourdes ‘loves fashion and style’ and that her job is to ‘stand in the background and watch’. But she admitted: ‘I proofread her blogs and edit them and give her a hard time when I think she’s being a lazy writer.’

In the interview Madonna, who has three other children apart from Lourdes, Rocco, 11, along with David, six, and Mercy, five, who were both adopted from Malawi, complained that people are unable to look beyond how old she is.

She said that when people write about her ‘my age is right after my name’.

She said: ‘It’s almost like they’re saying, ‘Here she is, but remember she’s this age, so she’s not that relevant anymore.’‘Or ‘Let’s punish her by reminding her and everyone else.’ When you put someone’s age down, you’re limiting them.’

The young Madonna was ‘tortured’ by the boy in her school and it was not until her teenage years that she found herself whilst partying in gay clubs. But despite that part of her never really grew up and she still feels like a teenager. She said: ‘For some reason, I feel like I never left high school, because I still feel that if you don’t fit in, you’re going to get your ass kicked. That hasn’t really changed for me. I’ve always been acutely aware of differences and the way you are supposed to act if you want to be popular.’
