Mad Men is still popular like before, however, the child star Kiernan Shipka does not want to play a little innocent girl on the screen. The 11-year-old, who plays Don Draper’s daughter, posted her recent photos showing that she can’t wait to be a fashion lady.
Kiernan Shipka, who plays Don Draper’s daughter, has given fans a sneak peek into her wardrobe – complete with hotpants, high heels and designer handbags. From Stella McCartney to Marc Jacobs, the 11-year-old’s closet boasts high-end labels most grown women dream of.

The actress, who has always expressed an interest in fashion, showed off eight different looks for a fashion blog. The tween put the outfits together herself and demonstrates a scarily wise-beyond-her-years style expertise. Referring to a pink and nude outfit, she explains to Luckymag.com: ‘I paired a Marc Jacobs top with a Paul & Joe skirt and some beige heels. With an outfit like this, I don’t like accenting the heel, because I find it distracting. The outfit that stands out on its own.’
Other outfits included a pair of Stella McCartney Kids hotpants and matching cardigan, which she teamed with brown shoes. Kiernan said: ‘This is a newer outfit of mine and I really love it! I have had these brown shoes I have been wearing for a long time. I love classic pieces.’

She counts her style inspiration as Grace Kelly and Tavi Gevinson, a 15-year-old blogger who is a regular fixture at fashion week. With her vast repertoire of brands, the tween star is certainly doing her bit to boost the luxury industry – not that it needs any help. Despite the current economic downturn, designer childrenswear labels have exploded in the last year- with a 70 per cent rise in sales, according to Selfridges’ department store. Gucci, Lanvin, Fendi and Marni have recently launched kids’ collections and it won’t be long before the rest follow suit. For more affordable designs , Daisy Lowe has unveiled a range of party dresses for high street chain Peacocks. But the average child is not a high earners like Kiernan – so while celebrity children create the hype, it’s parents who are left footing bill – and wishing they could join Don Draper and go back to a simpler time.

Opening the door to her walk-in wardrobe, Tamara explained that – as well as a shoe collection to rival Imelda Marcos – she owns countless designer bags, dresses worth £1,000 that she doesn’t even like and ‘usually only wears clothes once.’ So what else could you get for the woman who has everything, including a chihuahua called Duke? Judging by her shoe collection, restraint would be a good gift – if only money could buy it.
‘There are also 20 odd Hermes Birkin bags,’ she said. ‘But, to be honest, I’ve lost count.’ With these bags starting at £5,000, this puts a value of at least £100,000 on her collection. I can also spy at least five Alexander McQueen clutch bags on display, which start at £845. All these wares are housed in the dressing room Tamara is ‘embarrassed to say’ used to be a spare bedroom in her Chelsea pad. So embarrassed, it seems, she’s given several magazines tours of it.
Kelly Brook is famous for her love for towering high heels. However, she was spotted wearing a pair of men-style shoes around Kent yesterday. And the 31-year-old model and actress looked almost unrecognizable as a result of the masculine footwear.
The beatnik looking outfit was a million miles away from the glamorous dresses she normally wears but Kelly was still able to carry off the boyish look. As she strolled over a grass verge through the car park to the shops Kelly flashed her trademark grin before beginning some retail therapy in her home county. She may have been out shopping for a fancy dress costume as she said on Twitter that she would be throwing a Halloween party but wanted ideas for what to wear. Kelly said: ‘Planning the best Halloween party this weekend! Who should I go as??? X.’
